Finally

For the past 2 years we have been toying with the idea of a bigger car, plus it was not economical to keep our current car. So 2 years later, after alot of aching and almost getting a GTI (like we had the signed agreement and invoice in our hands) we finally got our hands on the perfect car for us. A 2008 Saab Sports Combi 9-3. (Sports combi is Saab's way of calling it a sports station wagon). It is everything we required and more. Its a family car with grunt and some added luxuries. We're all rather happy and I must say after tinting the windows, it looks damn sexy at night. We keep reading up on the features that don't seem to stop adding to the car. We do not stop being impressed with its engineering and ability to just take care of things car, like the automatic rain sensor wipers and confidence to zip into overtaking, or as we experienced this morning, taking care of a little skidding to almost none on slippery wet roads. (Incredible traction wheels). The makers are also renowned for producing safe and reliable cars. And this pretty much sold me when Dm said it. I am happy because finally, there is more space. Did I mention its got leather seats with a bum warmer for my cold tush in winter? Oh and a refrigerated glove compartment box so I can keep my beer/chocolate/groceries cool. Dm is happy because of its sports features, fuel efficiencies and its speed. He is even happier because on Sunday while coming back from Hockey, he said he got a thumbs up from a BMW driver who pulled up besides him at the lights. I love the car and it has strangely got us more motivated. I guess we were in a rut previously and feeling that things were not happening for us. This car has strangely given us inspiration to keep striving in our daily grind. I just feel so grateful and will not take this for granted. Especially since we got it way below the market price. Sigh. Thank you God.
